The NetBeans IDE 7 Cookbook is an ideal book for anyone wanting to explore the free NetBeans IDE. The author has gone to great lengths to provide lots of useful references for those who want to delve deeper.
I have to admit that at first, I found the style of writing a little off-putting but, soon realised that the book is actually very well thought out and the reader can just dip in without having to read the whole book.
If you want to learn how to use the NetBeans IDE and have fun at the same time then this book is ideal and you will be able to start building web applications, databases and even mobile applications very quickly.

Like most programmers, I tend to read a lot of books about software and programming techniques. I suppose my main interest is to keep up to date with new technology. I was recently searching for something on the NetBeans IDE, (Integrated Development Environment), when I came across NetBeans IDE 7 Cookbook by Rhawi Dantas.
